I don’t know if you all feel the same way, but I’ve found it quite simple to accumulate 2-3 stash tabs worth of aspects for a single class. This is even with my decision to retain only 2 of any given aspect, except for a couple of unique ones or perfectly rolled versions. However, the majority of my stash is taken up by just 2 of each aspect. Additionally, another tab is quickly filled with aspects for any class that can be overwhelming. So, here’s a suggestion for fellow aspect collectors like me…
Instead of the current meager 2 lines of space per character, consider giving us a more substantial 75-100 slots dedicated to storing extracted aspects. This range should be more than sufficient for keeping class-specific aspects, cheap diablo 4 gold at mmoexp.com. Furthermore, provide an option to discard aspects from this storage for a modest return of materials, perhaps a couple of Veiled Crystals or even an occasional legendary crafting component. This way, we can comfortably let go of aspects we no longer wish to retain without feeling like we’ve wasted them entirely.
Once an aspect is placed in this character-specific inventory, it becomes inaccessible in the stash. It remains there until it’s either utilized or discarded. Consequently, you’d still want to store general aspects in your stash for other characters that might require them. However, this change would alleviate the strain of having 2-3 tabs filled with class-specific aspects monopolizing the already limited stash space.
Now, perhaps we could use that space for more Malignant Hearts or rare items that might come in handy for future alts we decide to level up. Alternatively, it could serve as a storage spot for interesting finds from world unique characters.
I’m a bit concerned about how I’ll manage merging the stash situations of my Sorceress and Druid when this season comes to an end. Maybe this sentiment is shared, maybe not. I’m just grappling with the thought.
Another idea that occurred to me is having aspects available in dungeons correspond to the lowest roll found (defaulting to the lowest). After usage, you’d need to reacquire the aspect. This approach would provide a “guaranteed” means of obtaining the aspect you need when upgrading gear. Of course, all aspects available in dungeons would need to be enabled for this adjustment, which doesn’t appear to be a particularly challenging change. You could also combine both ideas – having aspects upgradable until used, requiring you to re-farm the aspect to include it in your codex.
There are various ways to enhance the current system that could incidentally make stash management more efficient for items, rather than dedicating space to saving aspects for future re-gearing or build transitions.
